Cairns has many great restaurants but also a lot of average ones charging overly high prices so it pays to ask for a recommendation before you dine out.
Wink is one worth checking out. It is a relatively new restaurant in Cairns (Grafton/Spence St) but has become a favourite with the locals and has been getting rave reviews. The chef (Leon) has roots in Jamaica and England and has worked in Michelin Star restaurants in several different countries. The menu reflects his diverse tastes and is delicious.
